Tai Chi & Qi Gong

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese system of exercise and martial art, which dates back over 3,000+ years. These series will focus on improving your health by integrating your body, mind, and spirit through movement, breath, and visualization. The goal is to control your own body's movement, then you can quiet your mind, nourish your spirit, and strengthen your body inside and out.

This 6 week series will provide you with a dynamic, progressive skill building program outlining the foundational skills and basic principles unique to Tai Chi. You will learn basic Tai Chi postures, Qi Gong exercises, meditation, and self-care tips. Some benefits you will experience include: enhanced body awareness; improved balance; increased strength and flexibility; and more energy and mental clarity.

Please wear comfortable clothes (layers in case you get too warm or cold), bring water to drink and a towel. Feel free to bring a journal for notes. No previous experience is necessary.

New students, please come 15 minutes early to complete the registration paperwork. All residents are welcome.

We currently meet once a week.

There is an additional cost for these classes, payable directly to the instructor.
