Greenbriar Woodlands Golf Course is a lush and well-manicured course with the Senior Golfer in mind. This beautiful executive golf course's front nine has short and easy par three holes. The back nine adds length and some difficulty for the experienced golfer. You can choose to play either 9 or 18 holes. No need to schedule tee times just walk on!
Annual dues are established by the Community Association Board (CAB). Pay these and in return, you'll have the opportunity to play unlimited golf, join any of our leagues and participate in our monthly tournaments.
League play includes the following. Tuesday mornings are reserved for the Men's League. There are two divisions with each playing only nine holes while rotating play weekly on either the front or back nine. Wednesday mornings are for the Women of Woodlands League (WOW's). Membership is comprised of golfers of every skill level. The women play nine holes on either the front or back nine with different types of games played each week. And Fridays are reserved for the Mixed League. Teams are made up of one woman and one man and are selected randomly. No spouses or significant others may be partners. Play is only on the front nine.
A Major Tournament is played once a month on Saturday mornings, April through October. These tournaments include the Masters (with Green Jackets awarded to the winners), a Member/Guest and Member/Member events, amongst others. Most Major Tournaments are played in a four-person best ball scramble format which makes it great fun for all golfers, regardless of your ability. Breakfast and lunch is provided before and after each tournament. All GWGA members are welcome to play.
Golf Association meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, March through October.In addition to our normal agenda items, guest speakers will be invited. All residents are invited to attend. We hope to see you there!
