BRIARTONES:
Briartones is the name of our choral group. Our purpose is to provide musical entertainment for interested clubs or groups within the Greenbriar Woodlands Community, such as the VFW, Women's Club and Men's Club. We perform outside the Community at various nursing homes and other senior developments. At each patriotic federal holiday, the Briartones march along with other Greenbriar Woodlands clubs in a small parade from the clubhouse to the community entrance. The Briartones sing and lead the rest of the clubs in a grand rendition of God Bless America and the Star Spangled Banner.
For several years the Briartones & Charlottones performed a summer concert at the Toms River branch of the Ocean County Library.
We begin each of our concerts with "Music Has Brought Us Together" and end each of our concerts with "Go with a Song in Your Heart".
Membership is open to any resident of the Greenbriar Woodlands Community. We rehearse weekly from the beginning of March thru early December. Dues are collected.

pianist and has receive many awards in this category as well as for musical direction.
CHARLOTTONES:
